Jimmy Dupety
CEO, Founder
With over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, Jimmy Dupety is a recognized professional in aircraft maintenance, modification, airworthiness management (CAMO), and both physical and records inspections. As the founder and managing director of AIRS SAS, he operates as a technical consultant and project director for numerous key players in the aviation sector, including airlines, leasing companies, MROs, and manufacturers.
Holding a degree in Aerospace and Structural Techniques from Paris West University, Jimmy began his career in aircraft maintenance and steadily advanced through increasingly responsible roles across various sectors of the industry.
Jimmy is known for his thoroughness, responsiveness, and strong interpersonal skills. He has led numerous international projects involving aircraft delivery and redelivery, record and physical inspections, and complex technical studies related to structures, landing gear systems, and regulatory compliance (EASA Part 145, Part M, Part 21J).
His expertise spans a wide range of aircraft including the Airbus A320 through A380, Boeing 737, Embraer 190/170, and ATR 42/72 series. He is proficient with key industry tools such as AMOS, AMASIS, MS Office, CATIA, and SolidWorks.
Nicolas Canlers
CTO
With over 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry, Nicolas Canlers is a recognized expert in airworthiness, aircraft maintenance, and technical project management related to aircraft transactions.
He has been involved in all key phases of aircraft handovers — from physical inspections and technical records analysis to the coordination of stakeholders — always ensuring compliance with international regulations (EASA, FAA, ANAC).
Before co-founding AIRS, Nicolas worked both as a freelancer and as a team leader for major clients.
He has led technical teams, managed complex projects, and contributed to the development of innovative solutions in CAMO and Part 145 environments.
At AIRS, Nicolas oversees technical operations and provides on-site training.
His attention to detail and deep industry knowledge make him a trusted partner for lessors, airlines, MROs, and other aviation professionals.

Our History
AIRS SASU (Aircraft Inspections and Records Support), a French limited company founded in June 2018 by Jimmy Dupety, is now co-directed by Nicolas Canlers. Together, they leverage their strong expertise and years of experience in the aviation sector to deliver technical and functional services tailored to their clients’ needs.
Jimmy Dupety, with over 10 years of experience in aviation companies (EASA Part 145, Part 21J, CAMO, consulting firms), has developed technical skills and functional expertise through numerous projects involving a wide range of aircraft.
